MattyRob — question. The confirmation page looks to be dynamically generated. There is no page in the WP panel to modify?
Do you mean modify the first subscription page, which announces the confirmation email, the page associated with Subscribe2?
Update — Well, Bluehost said it was nothing on their end. BUT, when I switched to SMTP delivery for WP emails rather than PHP, wham the problem was solved!
So I hope that helps someone in future. MattyRob, one final question if you don’t mind.
I went through the entire user experience, and I’d like to edit the final, Subscription Confirmed page. Don’t like the huge comment box presented to new subscriber. Can I edit that page, and if so how? Thanks again for your support of this plugin.
Thanks MattyRob. Really appreciate the response.
I’m active in many forums, and the etiquette there is not to start a new thread if the same issue has been discussed before. Reading Lutz’s initial post, sounded like same problem as mine.
I’ll contact Bluehost and try to find out what’s up. Thanks for mail log tip — sounds like a good thing to have regardless.
Hello, hope I can tag along here rather than starting a new thread.
I’ve read the string. I’m also getting the “Sorry, there seems to be an error on server. Please try again later” error message on the landing page, when entering an address into the form.
Site is http://www.chrisparente.com. You can see the token inserted into a post here: http://chrisparente.com/2012/10/31/what-makes-content-great/
Subscriber2 is set to send emails from me, chris@chrisparente.com, same domain as site. New post delivery to current subscribers is working fine.
More nuggets that may be relevant:
1. I do see the new email addresses listed as unconfirmed public subscribers in the Subscribers panel. No confirmation email was delivered, however.
2. Related question — it looks like I’m able to confirm these addresses myself. Why is that, if a new user is supposed to complete the confirmation?
3. I’m using PHP, not SMTP, to send my WP emails.
4. I’m using a MX record redirect to my host, Bluehost.
5. Also doing A record redirect.
Thanks a lot for developing this plugin, I’d love to figure it out.

In reply to: Transfer subscribers from wordpress.comHew — question. I don’t see any change in my control panel. Most of my subscribers are still showing as non-registered. I added them by hand a week or so ago.
Can you move these over as registered?

In reply to: Transfer subscribers from wordpress.comI’m so glad to see this thread hasn’t been closed! Hew, can you help me out too?
I’ve got just a few direct subscribers inside WP, most are using FeedBurner. I’ve got 8 email subs, and 13 WP users who followed me via WP not email, not sure what the term is for those.
The Subscriber panel under Tools makes it look like I can control, but I signed up as subscriber and I didn’t receive my last post.
Can you transfer over? Or tell me how to do? The wp.com site is cparente.wordpress.com, and the new site is chrisparente.com.
Many thanks in advance!
Thanks. FYI for future searchers, this did not resolve my issue. Seems to be for internal redirects only, could not format it to synch up with my incoming wp.com redirect.
I was forced to leave Yahoo to accomplish what should have been a simple task.

In reply to: Trouble with Pretty Permalinks and YahooThanks for reply Krishna. Yahoo support said no access, and didn’t try to upsell me so I doubt the other packages allow. The insertion of index in my permalinks breaks the forward from my site on wp.com.
If anyone knows a workaround for that, I’d be eternally grateful.
