[Resolved] [Plugin: Safe Redirect Manager] Loaded Plugin, now what?

  • Hello all. Very excited about finding this plugin, pointed this way by support. I need to use b/c my site is on Yahoo, and won’t support pretty permalinks.

I need to forward four years worth of links from my old wp.com blog to my new site. Right now the links break b/c the structure isn’t the same.

Sorry for newbie question, but now what? How do I edit plugin to match up the links? Thanks in advance.

After installing and activating the plugin, in the admin panel navigate to Tools > Safe Redirect. From there you can create redirects of the format “Old URL -> New URL”.

Thanks. FYI for future searchers, this did not resolve my issue. Seems to be for internal redirects only, could not format it to synch up with my incoming wp.com redirect.

I was forced to leave Yahoo to accomplish what should have been a simple task.
