In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Access log has no new entries since 7/17The fact that only my own visits appear in the log doesn’t make sense to me
That’s because there’s an option in WPFC to serve “fresh” content to logged in users or something (I don’t have installed anywhere right now, so I can’t double check). However, I just visited your website, and I see that the tracker recorded my activity. So, it looks like it should be working now. Can you confirm?
Thanks,

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Access log has no new entries since 7/17Hi @nicecms
Just to clarify, did you make sure the cache was cleared after you disabled the Preload option? Sometimes the cache is not cleared when you select the corresponding button in WPFC, so it’s always better to delete the content of the cache folder using your favorite FTP client. I still see a timestamp from earlier today on many of your pages. It doesn’t look like a conflict with Popup Maker at this stage.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] The World MapHi @steveraven,
we are working on implementing the new version 4 of the AmMap library:
https://www.amcharts.com/javascript-maps/
As an intermediate step, we disabled some features to prepare the ground for the new code. If you prefer to have the old colors, please rollback to version 4.8.4.1 (not earlier!) and wait until the new map is implemented. I don’t have a specific date for when this is going to be completed, however it should be in the next few weeks.
Best,
JasonPS: do not uninstall Slimstat or you will lose all your data. Just overwrite the files on your server.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Access log has no new entries since 7/17Yes, that is correct. The issue is fixed by disabling the option to NOT track bot.
Keep me posted!

If you do encounter JavaScript-errors when you have both WP SlimStat and Autoptimize installed, add “SlimStatParams, wp-slimstat.js” in the “Exclude scripts from autoptimize:” option on the admin-page and all should be well.
I see the link to the Javascript tracker in your source code, but not the parameters needed by the tracker to do its job. It looks like they’re being minified/removed by Autoptimize or some other similar tool.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] No Access to Settings – forbiddenNot sure why this is happening, it sounds like a conflict with another plugin. If you have access to phpMyAdmin, could you please find the entry ‘slimstat_options’ in
wp_optionsand send me its value to https://support.wp-slimstat.com ? I’ll send you back the value that you can use to replace it, and everything should go back to normal.Jason

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Access log has no new entries since 7/17Are you using the Preload Cache feature in WP Fastest Cache? If that’s the case, you will need to allow tracking of bots in Slimstat, because WPFC will generate its own cache by crawling the website as a spider. If Slimstat is configured to ignore bots, it will NOT attach the javascript tracker to those requests (since it detects WPFC as a bot) and hence all the cached pages will NOT be tracked in the end. You can still use the Exclusions settings to not track Google and other bots, while allowing WPFC.
I hope this makes sense.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Track private browsing?Hi @cdx
they are probably using some kind of AdsBlocker which prevents our tracker from doing its job. You could set the tracker to work in Server Mode in the settings. Please read the instructions on what that entails.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Access log has no new entries since 7/17Hi @nicecms
could you please post the URL to your website so that I can run some tests on my end?

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] No Access to Settings – forbiddenHi @d1plom4t,
you might be able to access the settings by changing the URL into:
/wp-admin/index.php?page=slimconfig
Let me know if that works,

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] No Access to Settings – forbiddenHi @d1plom4t
does this issue affect just the plugin’s settings or the other screens as well? Is that link in your bookmarks? Could you see if Slimstat is in your admin bar by any chance? If it is, you can put it back in the WP sidebar by going to Slimstat > Settings > General > WordPress Integration > Use Admin Bar (OFF).
Best,
Jason
