In reply to: [XML Sitemap & Google News] Can not see the sitemap, part 2Neither do I. But before I installed your sitemap I installed four more to try. Maybe one of them left something that did not let your´s activate in the right way.
Maybe, just maybe because it is impossible to know when installing Yoast that was removed. But it worked because I tried to install yours after our conversation and it did not work again.
The important thing is that it is working, now. I only regret do not have a multimedia sitemap on it.

An epiphany after lunch solved the problem but I do not know why.
I installed, again, Yoast and uninstalled it very after. After that, I installed yours and it is working ok. I can see it well and it charged ok in Google Seach Console.
Explanation???…maybe because Youst clean the concurrence it cleaned what was in the way.
So…. 🙂

Maybe it was something with the sitemap I tried before. It was also”/sitemap.xml” and something remained that does not let this one activate correctly. Unfortunately, I have no time for more tries. I will try it in the future and if it works I will tell you.

About the static file “sitemap.xml” I do not know how or where to look at it.

With Google news on it is the same. With only Goole News it 404.
