Does wp-sitemap ping google?

    Hi

    I do not know if it is the right place for the question but does the default WordPress sitemap ping google when we place a new post?

    I am using it and it takes so long to see the update (visit) to the post page in Search Console.

    Site maps make the content available for google to crawl.

    Google will crawl when it crawls.

    WordPress has no control over google crawling frequency.

    Yes, I understand, but some sitemaps ping google every time we post something.

    If you use a SEO plugin, try asking at that plugin’s dedicated support as well.
