@all, are you still experiencing this issue? in 3.3.7, S3 seems to work fine. Can you upgrade to this version and check?

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] No notification mailHi @ecollart, BackWPup’s use of wp_mail is quite simple and standard. My only guess is that the SMTP server is flagging it for some reason.
There are some plugins and services out there that can be used to increase mail delivery. One good one I personally use is MailGun, but there are others. My suggestion would be to try one of those and see if it works for you.

Hi @bugnumber9, from the links you provided, it looked like it was only a Dropbox V1 issue. Dropbox V2 support has been completed and will be included in the next release. So I suggest we revisit this issue when V2 support is out.
For now I’m going to mark this issue resolved since I do not think it directly relates to BackWPup. If you have an issue with V2 once the next BackWPup release comes out, feel free to let us know.
@maiden_taiwan, you have to change your VirtualHost, extending the AllowOverride properties to include FileInfo and AuthConfig.
