Hi @chekki, the new release will be next week. But as above, if you’d like the beta, feel free to contact us.
Hi @themakeuplight, thank you very much! That means a lot to us.
If you’re satisfied with your experience with BackWPup, we’d also appreciate if you could take 30 seconds and leave a review.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Error while writing fileHi @donnajanke, make sure your file permissions weren’t altered while upgrading. wp-content/uploads should be writable, as well as all directories underneath that.
Hi @galaxy_66, this is a known issue and will be fixed in the next release. If you’d like access to the beta prior to release, you can contact us at support [at] backwpup.com and we’ll be happy to provide it. 🙂
Hi @themakeuplight, it’s simply a difference in how the data is being backed up. This will be fixed in the next release.
Hi @draky, please contact support [at] backwpup.com and we’ll be happy to share the beta with you.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Archive file name was ignoredHi @sebastianlaube, we wanted to put some unique string in the archive name to identify which job it belongs to, as well as which site, to make tracking files easier. If you have a suggestion for how we might do that without making the name unnecessarily long, we’re happy to hear it. 🙂
Hi @timpritlove, yes that is unrelated. If you wouln’t mind creating a separate thread, that would be helpful.
@briantoronto you can email support [at] backwpup.com to get the beta. Or, 3.4.1 will be released next week.
Hi @tonvandervalk66, this CSS file should only be included when you are logged in as admin. Are you saying it is always present?
It will be out next week. If you like, you can contact us and request the beta of the next release, which contains the fix.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Archive file name was ignoredHi @sebastianlaube, please see the note under the archive name field. A format is required in order to track the archives that belong to each job. A certain prefix is required in order to know which files should be deleted.
Hi @kuphd1, that was a bug we discovered some users have been experiencing, which is fixed in the next version.
Hi @elurie, it means there was some error in the upload where it was only partially completed. Does it happen every time the job runs?
Hi @kuphd1. It should be tracking and deleting anything created after 3.4.0. You have the choice of either keeping the old archives, or deleting them as you see fit.
