All my sites I am backing up, are delivering backups with wrong file name since beginning of June.

All databases keep this wrong setting and resetting is going to be ignored.

default value, that is used and always reset:
    backwpup_XXXXXX_backup_%Y-%m-%d_%H-%i

my value which is not being saved to the database:
    backup_%Y-%m-%d_%H-%i

    Please fix ASAP.

Hi @sebastianlaube, please see the note under the archive name field. A format is required in order to track the archives that belong to each job. A certain prefix is required in order to know which files should be deleted.

Hi @cocreation, this change was surprising because it was working correctly with my value before. It’s sad that the archive names are now unnecessarily long.

Hi @sebastianlaube, we wanted to put some unique string in the archive name to identify which job it belongs to, as well as which site, to make tracking files easier. If you have a suggestion for how we might do that without making the name unnecessarily long, we’re happy to hear it. 🙂
