In reply to: [Cloudinary - Deliver Images and Videos at Scale] Parse Error: syntax errorHi @sswainson,
In order to better understand the issue, I need some more information. Can you please share with me the following?
Whats your WP version?
What version of the WordPress plugin did you add?
What other plugin’s do you have on your WordPress? Also since it might be related to the specific environment you are using would it be possible to open a request at support@cloudinary.com so we could take a closer look?
Hi @gdzieania
Please note that its possible to achieve any dimension scale you want to achieve by using our transformations.
In addition its possible to create named transformations with the specifc dimesnions you want, and call these instead of the long trnasformations
Does that make sense?

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for your input on this.
We would love to take a closer look at your specific environment.
If you want to share your credentials you could send these to support@cloudinary.com and we would see how to approach this.
Thanks
Hi Jerry,
Thanks for reaching out.
As there are a plethora of 3rd party plugins out there, there may be some cases where other plugins collide with our plugin’s functionality. Also, note that our plugin was designed to work with posts/pages. While 3rd party plugins, may sometimes work, Cloudinary’s plugin wasn’t designed for that, and therefore it may not support them.
That said, if you could share with us ways to reproduce the issue, and/or share any errors or logs you can get (client and server), we’d gladly take a closer look at it.
Looking forward to your update.
Best,

In reply to: [Cloudinary - Deliver Images and Videos at Scale] FLIF Image UploadHi,
We definitely support FLIF. Actually, the guy who created the format works at Cloudinary 🙂
Hi @paramathesh,
We add a random suffix by default to all uploaded resources in order to have them secured.
you could change this behavior by assigning a default upload preset in the account that has “Use filename = true” and “Unique filename = false”
You could see a screenshot of the configuration here
Hi @karan4word,
As we mentioned on the support request that was opened Currently, this feature is not supported by our plugin.
What you could try is uploading all the image to the root folder (which is currently what the upload process does) and then rename the resource and adding them the folder that you want.
For example, if you upload a resource named parrot and you later rename it to site1/parrot then it would be on that folder.
Hope this helps.

In reply to: [Cloudinary - Deliver Images and Videos at Scale] Crop SizesHi @technosailor,
Could you elaborate based on what would the cropping take place?
We are not sure we completely understand you.Hi @diwakhat
After speaking with our dev team they suggested that you could look into the method named:
wp_insert_attachmentto overcome the default relative pathsHope this helps.
Hi @diwakhat
I’ll take this internally and see how we can help.
Please note that since the request involves functionality that is not part of the designed usage of the plugin, this might take longer than usual.
thanks
Hi @paramathesh,
In order to bulk upload images from the WP media library to Cloudinary, you could go to the local Media Library of WP and select multiple images and then select Upload to Cloudinary from the Bulk Actions menu. After migrating the images, the links would be updated automatically.
You could read more about that in this article. If you cant find the migration button on the WP media library please see this aticle on how to see it,

Hello,
By default, unless set otherwise, Cloudinary insert an http URL to your post (using the WP plugin). To change this behaviour, when you insert an image to a post using the plugin, please set the URL protocol to HTTPS.Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any further questions.
