We found a glitch which caused issues like you were experiencing and it will be resolved in the next version v1.0.34 of our plugin. Which should be available tomorrow.

We are investigating the issue, but could you enable the WordPress Debug mode and post here any errors your website is generating?

For the time being, it may be a good idea to roll back to the latest stable version which was v1.0.31.

If you’re referring to the HTML Sitemap, then you can order the sections as well as individual posts/pages using drag & drop method in the HTML Sitemap Order box. It’s explained in our video, around 1min 15 second mark – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bReqdaqNJjc&t=75s.

When it comes to the XML Sitemaps, posts/pages are ordered by the Last Modified date which is a Google’s recommendation.

Hmm…that’s strange.

Just to make sure you are using the latest version 1.0.31

Then make sure there is no additional caching enabled on your hosting. It sometimes causes a delay when the changes are actually visible.

The other thing to try, would be to enable the WordPress Debug mode and see if your website is generating any errors.

If you could enable the debug mode, then try to Save the settins, and see if you will be getting any errors or warnings. If so, please copy and paste them here.
