We are also having the exact same issue.
Please provide the solution here, instead of giving us the runaround.

Hello,
We are also experiencing the exact same issue. We create a New order and add the Customer, but then no courses come up when we try to Add Item.

In reply to: [Simple Local Avatars] Don’t see my profile picture in commentsHello Tung Du,
Thanks for the response.
I have the OceanWP theme installed.
I tried with Twenty Twenty theme as you suggested, but I still see the mystery person.
I also tried with the plugin version that you provided, but I still see the mystery person.
Maybe I am missing a setting somewhere else?
Under the Discussions settings I have:
Avatar Display – Show Avatars is checked
Maximum Rating – G — Suitable for all audiences is checked
For users without a custom avatar of their own…
Default Avatar – Mystery Person is checked
Not sure what else to do.
Any other suggestions?

Hi Jelena,
I have been monitoring the comments. There was one on June 7th with the message [* Shield plugin marked this comment as “SPAM”. Reason: Failed Bot Test (expired) *] — but it was from a new person who did not have any previously trusted comments.
– M
Jelena,
My apologies. It’s actually the Tasty Recipes plugin that adds the 5-star rating. You can find the plugin at https://www.wptasty.com/tasty-recipes
Thank you.

Hi Jelena,
Thanks for the response.
Yes, the latest version of Shield (v.9.0.2) is installed.
As for the comments, this particular site uses Tasty Pins, a recipe plugin that automatically adds a 5-star rating system so people can also rate the recipe that’s been posted when they leave a comment. I have used both this plugin and the Shield plugin for a long time, so I don’t think they are incompatible.
The commenting issue, however, is fairly new. It’s only been happening for about a month. Also, only some people are experiencing this issue. Most trusted comments come through just fine and are not flagged by Shield.
So, I’m not sure what is happening, but the error would suggest that the GASP checkbox isn’t being checked, but somehow the comment still went through.
Again, I thought the box has to be checked in order for a comment to go through.
In other words, if the box is not there because it expires after 10 minutes, then the person must reload the page anyway to be able to submit the comment, correct?
What I’m missing or not fully understanding about how it all works?

Hi Jelena,
Thank you for getting back to me and for the information.
I managed to resolve the issue after reviewing the set up steps again.

Thanks, Paul. Will give that a try.
Meanwhile, we’ve been thinking about what you said with regards to the plugin code and how old it is, and I think we might end up switching to something else that’s being updated more regularly.
– M
Thanks, Paul.
Turning off the Password Policies option solved the issue for now.
-M
Paul,
I only have Enable Password Policies and Prevent Pwned Passwords enabled because I’m using the free version of the plugin, so I can’t do anything about the password strength.

Paul,
Thanks, I tried your suggestion, but it did not work. Below is the new error message with site directory info removed, as noted in brackets [ ].
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function ZxcvbnPhp56\Matchers\mb_ord() in /[removed site directory info]/wp-content/plugins/wp-simple-firewall/src/lib/custom/mkopinsky/zxcvbn-php/src/Matchers/SequenceMatch.php:40 Stack trace: #0 /[removed site directory info]/wp-content/plugins/wp-simple-firewall/src/lib/custom/mkopinsky/zxcvbn-php/src/Matcher.php(25): ZxcvbnPhp56\Matchers\SequenceMatch::match(‘505’, Array) #1 /[removed site directory info]/wp-content/plugins/wp-simple-firewall/src/lib/custom/mkopinsky/zxcvbn-php/src/Matchers/RepeatMatch.php(60): ZxcvbnPhp56\Matcher->getMatches(‘505’) #2 /[removed site directory info]/wp-content/plugins/wp-simple-firewall/src/lib/custom/mkopinsky/zxcvbn-php/src/Matcher.php(25): ZxcvbnPhp56\Matchers\RepeatMatch::match(‘[removed password info]…’, Array) #3 /[removed site directory info]/wp-content/plugins/wp-simple-firewall/src/lib/custom/mkopinsky/zxcvbn-php/src/Zxcvbn.php(66): ZxcvbnPhp56\Matcher in /[removed site directory info]/wp-content/plugins/wp-simple-firewall/src/lib/custom/mkopinsky/zxcvbn-php/src/Matchers/SequenceMatch.php on line 40
So, while I wait for the folks over at IDX Broker to get back to me. I am wondering about the Shield specific references in the error message that mention /wp-simple-firewall/src/lib/custom/mkopinsky….
If IDX Broker updates bootstrap.php located here lib/vendor/symfony/polyfill-mbstring/bootstrap.php — will that sort out the above?
Thanks,
-MHi Paul,
Thank you for the info.
I was able to determine that the plugin in question is IMPress for IDX Broker [https://wordpress.org/plugins/idx-broker-platinum/], but I can’t disable that one because it is a necessary plugin for the website.
I’ll reach out to the IMPress for IDX Broker plugin developer, but not sure how this could be resolved if that plugin and Shield both need symfony/polyfill-mbstring/bootstrap.php in order to work.
Any thoughts/ideas?
Thank you

Hi @voltronik ,
We’ve gone through our plugins. There’s a conflict with the CMSMasters Content Composer, which was created by CMSMasters team. This plugin is a custom visual editor with shortcodes & settings integrated to WordPress default content editor for new cmsmasters WordPress themes.
As soon as we disabled CMSMasters Content Composer, the blank screen issue was resolved. Unfortunately, this plugin is a page builder specific to our theme, so we can’t disable it or replace it with another.
Do you think it’s possible to temporarily disable CMSMasters Content Composer to create the notifications we need, and then just re-enable it when we are done? Would the notifications still work?
Or, do you have some other solution?
Thanks,
M
