Some other calendar/events systems allow you to subscribe to rss or ics feeds that import automatically. That would be ideal for what I need.
that seems way to complicated. also a csv won’t help me regardless. I need this to work across multiple sites, without the multisite set up. I was hoping the global events ability might help but there is no documentation I can find to help me determine if it would work or not. If I could subscribe to any of the streams listed above I’d be good to go, but so far no indication that it is going to work.
any idea on a time frame? I’d love to convince my client that this is worth sticking with. It works perfectly for my needs, save the agenda display issue for recurring items and needing to take guest submissions.

me too. the agenda view displays the original post date, so it looks like old events are posted.
Many thank you both for your posts on how to fix this. It works great with those changes. I’d add that I had mine in a sub-directory and had to add that to the beginning of the path for the captcha.
sorry, once again, just a result of bad formatting on my part. The plug in works great, it is just a very literal and exact process.
it was a problem with the way my file was formatted. now my only problem is that I have an extra ” that appears at the end of my posts. when I remove the quote mark at the end of the field it brings in custom fields… working on it… suggestions? I’m sure it is format related.
Love the plug-in btw. What a huge help… if only I can get past this hurdle!
your first value should be in quotations and empty fields as “” too.
