  • Hi @casket21! How’s it going today?

I have allowed guest checkouts so this should not be necessary?

Yes, it should do the job! Can you share a printscreen of your Accounts and Privacy with us? Also, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status?

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.

Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

I’ve also noticed that despite the right page being selected for Terms & Conditions it shows page not found & an error.

It looks like your T&C page has the address pointing to: terms-and-conditions/?v=19d3326f3137

    And the correct one is:

    terms-conditions/?v=19d3326f3137

You may need to assign it again, using the correct terms-conditions permalink!

Finally, let me know if you’re using custom codes that may be affecting the issues above.

I hope to hear from you soon! All the best!

    Hi Chris!

Checking through the Inspector, it looks like you’re using the WooCommerce Product Search widget (Extension) inside of an Elementor widget container.

Also, when searching for the tag feminist the results are slightly different from checking your product-tag/feminist as Paulo mentioned!

I’d recommend creating a new page, just to add the WooCommerce Product Search widget, for testing purposes. The blocks that the extension provides are gathered under WooCommerce Product Search in the block browser.

If you’re still having issues with that, I’d recommend checking it out directly with the plugin developer, they can double-check all the settings for you!

    All the best!

    Hi @mitesh15!

If I understood you correctly, this is happening after you pick up a payment method, and are redirected to the payment gateway, is that correct?

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated.

To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each until you find the one causing conflict.

You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Also, if you don’t want to make those changes on your live site, it sounds like a staging site would be a good idea.

If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

Let us know how it goes! My very best!

Hey @waseem55, thanks for sharing your System Status report!

I’d recommend updating everything from your WordPress to all your plugins to their latest version, and then, if the problem persists, I’d recommend making a test for conflicts.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated.

    Hi @minati88

Just to clarify it a bit, can you share with us what exactly are you trying to achieve?

As an aside, if you have different nexus locations, and don’t want to manually update all your tax rates, you can use the Automated tax calculation, you can see how it works and how to enable it by accessing the link below:

    https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shipping-and-tax/woocommerce-tax/#automated-tax-calculation

And just to address your primary question, SQL queries are commands that you execute in your MySQL Server, but you can execute that SQL query at your phpMyAdmin if you’re comfortable with that.

Be careful when executing SQL queries because it will do exactly what you’re asking (through commands) to be done, and sometimes that’s not exactly what you want to be done! I’d recommend backing up everything first! 🙂

Hi @countdownsales, thanks for sharing that with us!

WP Memory Limit: ❌ 40 MB

For a basic setup installation of WordPress, using only WooCommerce and Storefront as a theme, we’d recommend using at least 64MB of WP Memory.

Since you’re not using a basic setup, I’d recommend increasing the WordPress memory limit to at least 256MB!

There are two paths to do that, by adjusting it yourself or asking your hosting.

Both ways are described here in detail:

    https://woocommerce.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/

    Hi @sebastienfry

If I understood you correctly, you want to hide some specific products from a category page, is that correct?

This is a bit out of scope for us, but I found this article that comes in handy when trying to hide some specific products on a category page:

    https://www.businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-remove-specific-category-shop-loop/

If you’re comfortable with coding, you can add more slugs at your terms [array].

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack.

We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

    All the best!

    Hi @legraindeweb

Are you, by chance, using a weight plugin or custom code for your products (and products variations)?

Also, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status?

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.

Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Thank you!

    Hi @doncrystal

Before we talk about your tax settings, it’s important to keep in mind that we’re not tax professionals so our advice is how to use our software.

For specific advice when it comes to what or when to charge tax/VAT/GST etc, we recommend consulting with a tax professional or an accountant on what may be your best options.

I can see that you’re using a EU/UK For WooCommerce that doesn’t seem to be updated, can you try to update it to its latest version, to see how it goes?

Also, on your screenshot, it shows includes TVA instead of VAT, where have you set that message? at the bottom of the total cart screenshot!

Finally, can you show us an example page of that, so we can see it live?

I hope to hear from you soon! All the best!

    Hi @tal012

Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status?

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Also, can you share a screenshot of the issue with us? This will help us to understand and diagnose it better!

You can use this tool to take a screenshot and share it with us:

    Thank you!

    Hi @geekandartsy

I found an interesting discussion about the Endurance Page Cache plugin here, maybe you want to take a look:

    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/45574915/what-is-the-endurance-cache-feature-in-my-wordpress-website

Alternatively, can you share with us your Error log report? You can find the most recent one by navigating to WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

You can paste it in here for a double-check!

I hope to hear from you soon! my very best!

    Hi @bearbehind!

Sounds like a plan! Please, share the results with us and the community!

I’ll love to hear back from you! My very best!

    Hi @siutek

Have you, by chance, tried to add a class on that block by setting it up on the Advanced field of the block settings?

After adding a block, you can click on it to open the Block Settings, and on the right-sidebar, locate the Advanced tab, which will let you add a CSS class to that block, or multiple classes, separating them by spacing.

    Hey @storepaperoomates

I’m happy to hear that! Let us know how it goes!

    Hi @freshco

Just to clarify it a bit, is the message that you are trying to move about earning points?

If so, you can move it around or hide it, using a piece of CSS code, you may need to check with your theme developer or even with the plugin developer about that.

This is a bit out of scope for us, but can you confirm the message and what do you want to do with it, and share with us a copy of your site’s System Status?

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

That way, we can understand it better and double-check if you can manage it with CSS!

    All the best!
