In reply to: [Schema] Additional social sitesThough it may still be worth adding for Bing. I’m not sure whether they use the schema markup, but they support a different set of social sites. E.g. if you search for me on Bing then there are results for Twitter, GitHub, LinkedIn, Stack Overflow, and AngelList that appear: https://www.bing.com/search?q=ben+mccann+connectifier+inc&qs=AS&pq=ben+mccann+connectifier&sc=1-23&cvid=675A466AD0CA42A3B25726A2E6200055&FORM=QBLH&sp=1
Of course Bing managed to find all these sites without the schema markup, so maybe it’s not necessary there either

The Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP plugin said they would add this feature for me though, so that might end up being the easier way to go: https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/schema-and-structured-data-for-wp/issues/553

How do I prove to my hosting provider that the issue is on their end and not akismet.com? It would be soooo much better if the akismet plugin only emailed me after the retry failed. That’s not to say I shouldn’t try to address whatever network flakiness is occurring as well, but the behavior of this plugin is definitely not good.

In reply to: 3.0.3 – Sending Comment/Spam Emails, Nothing In QueuePost the link to the bug here if you file one. It makes sense that the plugin can’t tell whether the comment is spam until it reaches akismet.com, but I’d prefer not to be emailed on the first failed attempt.

Regardless, the new behavior is pretty awful. It’s great that the plugin is rescheduling a retry now; I just don’t want to receive an email because of it.

10 hours ago – Akismet caught this comment as spam during an automatic retry.
