I had the same exact problem using Firefox 3.0.11 and had a mini heart attack. I cleared my private data and cache and it is working fine now. Phew!

Thanks Joni, it looks like it’s working then, since I saw your pic. A couple questions then – in my WordPress.com account I have the option to upload an avatar image on my settings page, but this does not exist in my WordPress.org account. Do I need a plugin or something?

Also, if you check the comments of previous imported entries, no gravatar images are displayed, but these same users do have avatars that show up on other blogs where they comment.

Any ideas?
