Can you give me an idea of what you consider to be optimal for hosting a site with these needs?
Thank you

In reply to: [Simple Shopping Cart] how light..?My first reply disappeared. Trying again…
She is currently working on the business plan for this so it is subject to change. This is what I have been told up to this point.
The plan is to offer a mix of classes and physical products. When asked how many products she said up to 100 including variations in size, etc. Some of the classes are intended to include physical items assembled into kit form. There is uncertainty about whether the sale/booking of classes might need to be handled differently since they are time-based. It seems logical that the kit aspect would make a cart appropriate.
She is comfortable with handling her own shipping and label printing. The ability to turn on taxes would be appreciated. This is in Oregon where there is no sales tax so the item is going to receive further study.
Since it will be a new business with no track record I’m hoping to start her out with inexpensive hosting, but only if the performance won’t suffer or if it will be predictable that she will need to scale up to either or both more robust hosting or (worse) a more robust and demanding cart.
That’s all I have at this time. Thanks

Thank you for the solution.

In reply to: [Product Filter for WooCommerce by WBW] Sticky Product(s)?I’m trying to make it so two specific products are always at the top of the shop page. If you have any additional suggestions I would love to see them.
Thank you

In reply to: [Product Filter for WooCommerce by WBW] Sticky Product(s)?Hi, I was able to locate and turn on the checkbox turning on this option.
However, I can’t figure out where/how I select the items I want to target for this. Please advise.

In reply to: [Docket Cache - Object Cache Accelerator] Malicious files3 different websites on three different hosts in two days. These are just the latest. Your plugin is a problem.

In reply to: [Docket Cache - Object Cache Accelerator] Malicious filesThe thing is it is a chronic problem. Every month or so it’s back on the list with files with porn, drugs and other things in the file names within that plugin directory. Those file names are not “false positives.”

In reply to: [Longevity] Audit says Home page isn’t mobile friendlyI followed up with Dreamhost and got more input on this:
The message you’re receiving: “Your homepage is wider than 360 pixels and doesn’t have a mobile domain…” It is tied to how the plugin detects responsive design. The plugin performs a basic screen-width and mobile-domain check, and flags anything beyond 360px or without a separate mobile URL.
However, our team also tested your site using tools like SpeedVitals and found that: The site doesn’t fully meet modern mobile performance expectations. There may be layout or responsiveness limitations that cause elements to render poorly on certain viewports. Here is the full SpeedVitals report for your mobile version of the site: https://app.speedvitals.com/report/be-joy.com/co7JUx/
This is likely not a false positive. Instead, it appears your theme may lack full mobile responsiveness, particularly under 360px, which can cause display or usability issues on smaller mobile screens. This aligns with both the SEO plugin’s alert and external tests. The Next recommended Steps are contacting the theme developer or considering a mobile-optimized alternative.
Will you help with this?

In reply to: [GEO Plugin by Squirrly SEO] BulkseoRow.php malware issueThat’s a great feature. It appears to have solved the problem. Dreamhost has now whitelisted the file. Thanks for your help.
Fyi, I thought I would give WP Ghost a try but it’s not getting off to a good start. Yet another support thread…

In reply to: [WP Ghost (Hide My WP Ghost) - Security & Firewall] activation issueAn update. Now I have received a code sent to the email I did not want to use. But since the page still has an error message there is no place to use the code anyway. I’m beginning to lose interest in a plugin so poorly set up.

In reply to: [GEO Plugin by Squirrly SEO] BulkseoRow.php malware issue@petersquirrly Wordfence doesn’t even see the file because of the blocking placed on it by Dreamhost. It’s not even possible to open it with the file editor for review.
Since the site is hidden behind a “coming soon” page there really isn’t any data to save. Unless you have an alternate suggestion I think the delete/reinstall strategy is the only path open to us.
Thank you

In reply to: [GEO Plugin by Squirrly SEO] BulkseoRow.php malware issue@petersquirrly , Wordfence is already installed and I think it missed this. It is my understanding that the php integrity scan you suggest is part of Wordfence’s regular scan. Dreamhost spotted it and disabled the bulkseorow.php file.
I intend to delete the file. Should I delete and reinstall Squirrly? Or will the file not be missed?
Thank you
Thanks @wfmargaret ,
At this point it looks like the site needs some help with its email authentication. After testing, both the test emails and some of the missing alerts were located in spam. We’re about to address that and believe that will solve the problem.
Operator error. Thank you @yasinabedi
I second @samglass . It would be much appreciated if instructions were provided. @wpmansour would you please elaborate?
