I just tried another gallery, Envira Gallery Lite. The previous links for page and blog are the same.

Your theme now officially breaks galleries when placed in a post. They do work in pages. This is a problem. The site and galleries were fine for many months. Please update the theme.

The Codex confirms my understanding that the email address placed in Settings is the one where notifications will be sent. Since this is not what is happening, are you proposing that the database might not contain the data in Settings? I took a look and, while I can see the User roles are all present, I am not able to interpret the fields beyond that.
The Codex indicates that the emails in the roles themselves should be considered separate from what is entered in the Settings. It continues to seems like some sort of a bug to me.

If you go here you will see a screenshot of how well the Jetpack gallery is not working on this site. It used to, but that was before WordPress updated beyond the theme’s capabilities. That’s when the logo and sidebar with the navigation disappeared.

I find this a bit confusing. The site is currently using a child theme with version 1.2.0 of the theme in the files. That is the current version of Luminescence Lite available for download from the repository. It seems like going back to an older version would only complicate things — plus I’m not sure where I would find it. Are we talking about the same theme?

    It’s here
The blog missing the sidebar is the Project Gallery.
    Thanks

    Taking these points in order,
–the page was only protected in that there was no direct link to it on the site. ‘Hidden’ would have been a better word to use. His users would not know to type in the correct url, but the redirect from the plugin would have sufficed.

–the issue was that even when placed, the Logout function failed to perform the actual logout. In emailed support I was told that since you could not recreate it you could not address it. It is not unusual for plugin authors to request Admin access. This was not requested. The fact that I had to rename the plugin folder twice to be able to get back into the Admin during testing is ample evidence of it’s failure to log users out.

–yes, the password field is there, but in the course of my own testing I used increasingly weak passwords which were accepted. The gauge that rates them works just fine, but there is no enforcement.

–I tried all forms of verification and do have one change to report here. While the Admin approval doesn’t work, an email verification did eventually show up. The problem there was that with the other issues and it was so slow I gave up on it before it could make the return trip.

I became very familiar with your documentation and forum. This is the only way to get the information regarding Logout link placement. The direct email support came about because I found that even with a created account there was still no way to actually post in your forum. I have since moved on to a different solution.

These issues aside, I think that the plugin looks nice and is customizable with CSS. The intention is great, if only the bugs can be worked out.

Beautiful. I thought I’d tried everything, but clearly not. That worked perfectly. Thank you!

I tried 2013 briefly and everything else in the site immediately returned to left alignment. After I reinstated the CSS everything except the contact form returned to center. So, the site is back to rights, albeit with a stubborn left-aligned contact form. Any suggestions?

Yes, that is correct. In his website the form is now the only element with left alignment.

After contacting Styled Themes about this, I was told that they will include a fix for this in the next theme upgrade. That was a month ago and that’s far too long for a sidebar and heading to be missing, especially when it affects something as widely used as Jetpack. Anyone considering this theme be advised that you shouldn’t hold your breathe about it being kept current. This is sad because it is a nice theme and the original theme author really cared.

This *almost* solves my problem. When I use this code it does remove the bullet outside of the accordion. Unfortunately it also removes the bullets within the accordion content. Since many of my accordions contain lists I would like to retain the inner bullets. Is there a way to remove the outer while still retaining the inner?

At the moment your code suggestion is not implemented on the site because I need the bullets in the rest of the site.

    Thank you!

I would like to switch, but for now I am going back to the accordion provided with the theme. I am leaving a test page up with an instance of your accordion in hopes that you will provide a fix. It is possible that there is some form of conflict between them, although the shortcodes are different. You can see the example here. It has been placed within a limiting div to give a compromise width when the mobile site is viewed on a larger screen.
    Thank you

The host thinks Backup Buddy was throwing a false positive. Thanks

Sorry, I thought I had provided it at the beginning. It’s here. Thank you

There is a misunderstanding here. The link isn’t being recognized with mobile. It’s not a matter of changing the phone settings.

The Skype piece is only being offered on desktop, not at all useful.

Please tell me what I’ve missed with the code for it to show up for mobile.

    thank you
