Hi,

Up until the other day there were no black lines between the navigation items, thus my desire to remove them. I switched from HMS Testimonials to Strong Testimonials because the first has apparently been abandoned. Other than an image replacement an an h5 style I have done nothing to change the testimonial plugin display.

The auto adding of menu items may have been altered over multiple core updates. At any rate it is resolved and a non-issue.

Thus far the CSS for the navigation has eluded me. How can I get rid f the lines?

I didn’t see your reply, but just updated the plugin. This time when I ran the scan I was able to delete the comments identified as spam. That was great progress.

However, out of the 43+k comments there were still over 8,000 left behind, and they are all clearly spam. I have tried manually deleting them but as some of these comments are very long this will be a very slow process if approached screen by screen. How do you explain so many of them overlooked? Is there a next step?

Hi, I reinstalled the plugin and have done the following things:

• Updated the php to 5.6
• Checked for malware and removed it
• Revisited getting the Error logs set up

Several times I have rerun the check and it still does nothing when I ask it to delete the comments. Several times along the way it came up with Ajax errors and asked me to check the javascript on the site. The last time I ran it this did not happen but it was constantly coming up with the popup for the 3001 millisecond timeout. I gave up halfway through and it still won’t delete. I checked the error logs on the server and they are blank.

One thing I have learned is that she is on a very old plan with an old and slow server. I plan to relocate her to Siteground but was hoping to get housekeeping like this done first. I know she paid for the plugin after it looked promising. Is there anything more you can do? This is eating up tons of time and I am getting nowhere.

I am running into some snags. First, there is a huge block of links to the individual posts. I tried scanning through the to determine if this was for all of the posts or just the ones identified as spam but in the section I reviewed they were all consecutive. I’m not sure if I check the box that says ‘delete all comments’ if it really means all of them, or if this is just for the ones identified as spam.

I may have checked all of them, but decided to click the button to delete just the checked ones, and received the following error message:

Ajax error. Process will be automatically restarted in 3 seconds. Status: error (Check comments)
Please, check for JavaScript errors in your dashboard and and repair it.
Total comments 43136. Checked 43136. Found 38935 spam comments. 0 bad comments (without IP or email).

I am not sure how to check for javascript errors or how to correct them. What should I do next?

Hi, I will make the support request. If it turns out to be just a matter of making the change in the database that would be great. I checked with SiteGround about their Move Tool and didn’t get much in the way of useful information. Thank you
