In reply to: (Twenty Twelve) change "leave a reply"I’ve tried making the above changes to my comments.php file (my site uses twenty twelve theme) and even after refreshing, I don’t see a change. Please, I’d really appreciate a hand – perhaps it’s as easy as waiting a few hours for the server to refresh?
Just to be clear: I’d like to change “Leave a reply” to “Please click here to add a comment” and my website is: http://www.kimshupenia.com/

In reply to: How to link a "published" page to home page menu buttonThank you all – truly, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that you’d take the time to consider and answer my problem.
The problem was a corrupt theme.
My darling husband reinstalled the theme a few times, and finally tried a new one – which works like a charm. The menus behave as expected and we’re moving forward quickly with the new web presence.
Wishing you all a sunny day,
Kim

In reply to: How to link a "published" page to home page menu buttonPlease forgive me – why do I need to create a custom menu if I just want to use the menu that’s already set up in my Pinboard theme?
1) I navigate to Dashboard/Appearance/Menus and create a menu item called Beagle
2) I navigate to dashboard/pages/edit page and attempt to edit my page called Beagle
3) Under Publish I select the button “Preview changes” > I get a broken linkI just want to click the existing menu item on my home page in order to reach the page.
I get it – clearly I’m too dumb to use WordPress but DH has blown away everything else we have online. Is there maybe a theme that I can pay for that enables me to link an existing menu item to a page?

In reply to: How to link a "published" page to home page menu buttonThanks for the pointer – here’s my link http://www.jackpotfarms.com/jkwebsite/
I’m just trying to figure out how to link a page to the menu button. Since the Beagle page shows up on the same “level” as the home page, I figure there’s some easy way I should be able to indicate it’s “subordinate” to the home page.
Thank you again.
