In reply to: Rogue image appears at the bottom of a postI just got my site to work on mobile moments ago. I went to my WPTouch plugin settings page and simply saved my existing settings (no changes in the settings), and that seemed to kick-start things? Go figure.
I’ll mark this one as resolved. I’m not touching any Knowd plugins for a while.

Well, I went through the ‘ol plugin deact routine again. And, who would have ‘Knowd’! After de-activating the ‘Knowd traffic counter’ pluging, the rogue container/image object so far has not reappeared. I wonder if the folks at Knowd knewd about this issues 😉
Now, another problem for another post: my site doesn’t appear anymore on mobile after the 3.5 upgrade: help! 😉

Esmi, the Insert Html Snippet plugin successfully converted the html code ‘snippet’, and the rest as they say is history.
This one can be solved as a worlaround.

P.PS: I worked 10 years an escalation techy for Softimage Inc (3d & XSI products for FX, film and games). And, I really appreciate and recognize your prompt assistance, interest and passion!

In reply to: shortcode does not work only the code line is visibleI feel like a dunce Esmi! What a pile of <expletive>. Well, you win a hundreds pounds of spaghetti for figuring this one out! So, in other words, their shortcode generator ‘compiles’ (for lack of a better term) only for non-self hosted WordPress sites. So, I guess I’m toast for now.

I might add that the ‘goodies’ page is associated with every members’ account, so the slideshow image files, for example, will be associated with the account member’s content. I don’t know what you’ll see on that page? Pls let me know.

Ok, I tried Esmi’s solution involving renaming the Plugins folder. So, in essence, all the plugins were toast at that point. But the result was also negative.
The Support chap at P.crati also recommended deactivating the plugins, but to do a test with the Contact Form 7 shortcode which worked! When I re-pasted my problematic shortcode (printed above), it didn’t work.
I then re-activated all my plugins with the net result of the Contact Form 7 shortcode working.
So, I agree with the person who suggested that it may be a corruption in the generated shortcode I’m trying to use.Again, many thanks for all your help. This is a humbling experience.
