The ‘la petite url’ plugin does something similar to YOURL, but comes up with a php function that can easily be incorporated into your side. However, I don’t know how to incorporate it into sociable.
The ‘la petite url’ plugin for wordpress seems to do a good job of shortening links and is not dependent on third-party link shorteners.
However, this plugin only results in a link-shortening function that allows you to present the shortened link on your blog.
It seems to me that it might be possible to somehow integrate this link-shortener function with sociable.
But his would require altering the sociable php code which I’m not sure how to do.
Does anyone have any ideas?
