In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding Variations removes Add to Cart Buttoncitynode – I made the changes you suggested. I had no idea how to use the menu. Everything looks better. But, if you enter my url carolinashoresnaturalsoap.com it goes right to the About page that I did not include in the menu when I was creating it–as you said). Notice there isn’t even an About in my menu.?$%^&*()
In APPEARANCE, MENUS under Pages, when I click on View All here is what I see. Again, I did not add About to the menu I created just now.

ContactIs this an easy fix? Otherwise, I guess it’s not a problem that my link goes to an About page but its not on my menu?
P. S. You are so helpful. I hope you like handmade soap because you are my new bff. You have to have a computer background?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding Variations removes Add to Cart Buttoncitynode: Since I switched to Wootique, the add to cart button works. Whereas it wasn’t working in my other theme.
I still have that problem ( and I know I did something wrong when building the website). Whereas my home and about page are the same URL. I have no idea how to change that. I am worried that I have to start from scratch and don’t want to do that since I know nothing about technology. At this point I am going to keep my home and about page the same. I will make a new post asking for help soon.
Thanks again for your help. This is still a work in progress.

P. S. If it looks a little bland it’s not because I don’t want to add anything, it’s because I am still trying to figure out how to add categories, etc. I know absolutely nothing about code. It’s a matter of pressing buttons and seeing what happens. 🙂Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding Variations removes Add to Cart Buttoncitynode – the new theme wootique seems to have fixed the problem I was having with not having the cart for varied products! Thanks.
Do you have wootique? I can’t seem to figure out why my home and about page are the same page. When I click on pages, I don’t have a home page listed in the list of pages. If I try to add a “home” page, then there are two home pages that show up at the top bar. Is there a page for just wootique that addresses everything and or shows a video on every topic?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding Variations removes Add to Cart ButtonCitynode – thanks again. I went back and it uploaded. Before I activate it…I was wondering if you knew the following. If I activate the Wootique, make all the changes, etc. and then decide I can’t figure that theme out and want to go back to my old theme (even though it’s not perfect) can I do that? Or will I lose all the other stuff if I activate the new wootique theme?
If I can do that, then I will try to make the changes and see if that darn cart will show up on that one item.
I am so glad you are so helpful.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding Variations removes Add to Cart ButtonI just tried to download the free wootique. Downloaded fine. When I went to install it it said it failed because there was no style.css sheet? I have no idea what that means. So my worry is that IF i bought one I would have similar downloading problems and no one to call to get an answer (right now we have to play 20 million questions).

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding Variations removes Add to Cart ButtonI don’t know any tech lingo–sorry. What is invot and permalink? Where would I find it.
Also, I only picked this theme because I don’t know what I am doing and I picked what was quick and what I thought easy. I’ll take anything that’s free and works easy.
My theme is weaver II if that makes a difference. I got it from Word press when I was trying to figure everything out before I got Woo Commerce.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding Variations removes Add to Cart Buttoncitynode – thank you so much for your help! The screen shots you showed me where a little different than what I saw on my screen. But, I now have a price and drop down to show selections. However, I don’t have an add to cart button? Any suggestions? They are all the same price regardless of the scent.
if you have time and can look at the website I would appreciate it.
carolinashoresnaturalsoap.comP. S. How do you know all this?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding Variations removes Add to Cart ButtonThanks citynode. If the add to cart button will not appear, how does one add it to the shopping cart? When you say redefine the prices, there was no where to put prices. I guess I could add it next to the name of each scent i.e. lavendar $6|lemongrass $6|
But again, how does one then add it to their cart?

In reply to: How to add a "select options" buttonThanks. I am getting so confused. I thought I was in Woo Commerce.
Whoever says WP is easy must be a person with a computer degree. The average person cannot figure half of the stuff out. Thanks again.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] What is a place card holder? How do I get rid of it?I am sorry, I have not idea what that is. You will have to explain “Barney” style. Went to add product, typed a brief definition and added a picture.
