In reply to: get_links wp_list_bookmarks and link problems with 2.1.3Madaracs, thanks for your tip and proper syntax on using the null title_li variable. It solved my tiny visual problem with the “fallseason” theme I am using on our local camera club site.

In reply to: Powered by WordPress, really? are you sure?Wow… LCSV4 reminded me of the movie “Office Space” where the restaurant waitress [Jennifer Aniston] was required to wear a minimum number of buttons or “pieces of flare” on her uniform to ‘express herself’. I do believe LCSV4 shows maximum pieces of flare. Congratulations if that was your goal! 🙂

An alternate “plugin style” solution is to use the WP plugin ImageManager which has settings for align and spacing in the interface. You can find it here http://soderlind.no/ImageManager

In reply to: New Theme: EightytwoI think this theme is outstanding. The layout is attractive and the image files are efficiently sized and dialup friendly. Bravo Alexsancho and thanks for sharing your theme.

In reply to: Image Placement in 2.0Thank-you honewatson. I must have tried image uploads and and checked thumbnail creation about three times and became disheartened. Because of my _user error_ I was only getting a dimension reduced thumbnail. Thanks for letting me know it *will* work if I do my part.

In reply to: Image Placement in 2.0Personally I hate having a large image’s dimensions reduced and still retain it’s huge file size. VERY dialup unfriendly. My preference is to have an option to make a true thumbnail (with small file size) inserted into a post that when clicked it pops up the original full sized image. It would also be nice if it allowed right or left alignment options (and maybe hspace).

In reply to: Importing Grey Matter FilesI had the same GM importing problems as you and after a few days of trying different ideas I finally gave up 🙁 I would still love to convert to WordPress if the GM import script worked for me.

Oops, can’t find any database named here!
[The files are there and I can download and read them!]
I even copied all the gm-*.cgi files to other folders, re-editied gm-2-b2.php and got the same results. The gm cgi’s were originally 644 so I even chmod files to 777 and still got same results.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Greymatter ImportI love an answer to this question also. I am currently running Greymatter 1.21c and would love to be able to import all of the multiuser posts into WordPress.
