Validation Error in Letterhead theme only

  • Got a question on this. When using the Letterhead theme I get this error.

    ———ERROR message
Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on line 281 it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file and the character encoding indication.
    ———-

Of course the Default theme validates fine. My problem is that I have no idea which document the line 281 above refers to.

The blog in question is at:

    Thanks

    At a guess:
    <li><a href='http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/r?ammem/mtj:@field(DOCID @lit(tj100173))' rel='on on on' title='Quotation from Tomas Jefferson'>American Memory from the Library of Congress</a></li>
Remove that line and see what happens ?

    Line 281 of source:
In the footer… All postings copyright 2005.

utf-8 doesn’t like your copyright symbol
