  • Basically it is NOT a WP specific question: it is more a CSS 101 Basics.

    However, some good souls wrote some excellent tutorials for the Codex, so just have to search, read and apply:

    An alternate “plugin style” solution is to use the WP plugin ImageManager which has settings for align and spacing in the interface. You can find it here http://soderlind.no/ImageManager
