I uploaded the image using FTP, as you suggested. It looks as it should: http://www.artbybws.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/confidential%20i.jpg
But once I try to put the image into a post (I used html to include it in the post rather than ‘set a featured image’), it returns to looking dull: http://www.artbybws.com/confidential-i/

Quick question: you said you created a ‘child theme’. What do you mean by that?
