JPG desaturation when uploaded | WordPress.org

I have followed these instructions ( http://toni-two.com/wp-struggles/fix-image-color-saturation-loss-wordpress/ ) and also cleared my cached images in my browser and still the photos look dull.

I’ve also optimized all my photos using the EWWWW plugin.

What else can I do? It’s driving me crazy!!!

Use FTP to upload the images and use HTML to include them.

Create post/page doing so we may compare to the other. Links to such will of course help decide.

Make sure you clear your cache/cdn.

I uploaded the image using FTP, as you suggested. It looks as it should: http://www.artbybws.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/confidential%20i.jpg

But once I try to put the image into a post (I used html to include it in the post rather than ‘set a featured image’), it returns to looking dull: http://www.artbybws.com/confidential-i/

Any more ideas? Thank you!!

First, turn Jetpack Photon off. Once that is done I’ll look again. Post here when it is.
