@marinaa, you’ve been so helpful with this post, thank you so much! I need a little more clarification. Another developer developed the website I’m doing and it is a Static Html site. How do I know what files to delete??? I can follow along with all of your instructions above, I just don’t want to delete something I shouldn’t.

In reply to: How to transfer filesI went to Settings > General, park your old domain name or make it redirect to the new one, and point the new domain name to the folder that WordPress is in and changed the address to http://www.thereferralstream.com/referralstream and now this is what I get:

I can’t even log into wordpress!

Now, I have a blank canvas. When I log into my FTP file manager (on GoDaddy’s website), the files from the built site are still there, can I move them?
