Newly installed WordPress and the feed doesn’t seem to be working:

I have tried with/without permalinks, tried deleting .htaccess file, tried deleted all posts and recreating, I can see the posts under my category blog link just nothing in the RSS Feed. Its like it thinks I have no posts but they are there?? I also tried disabling all plug-ins. This theme has woocommerce enabled…I have made a few minor changed to the theme files but that is about it…

    Any ideas?

    have you tried:

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems (because the hooks remain unless plugins completely removed or some plugins stick around in cached files. So by renaming the folder, you break them and force them inactive).

-switching to the unedited default theme (Twenty Eleven) for a moment by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes. The idea is to force WordPress to fall back to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.

Thanks for the advice. So I set the theme back to Twenty Eleven and the feed now works. Any thoughts on where to look as far as the theme. What files are tapped the would cause a feed issue? I may also revert back to the original theme to see if it has this problem out of the gate because I haven’t modified a ton…

    which theme you were using?

This may sound really basic so please excuse me but how do I find out if my feed is working? I tried adding it to google reader and it says “Your search did not match any feeds.” but this link works:

Thanks in advance for the help!
