it seems fixed for some reason 🙂
I tried to disable all the pug-ins: same problem and I put in the [caption] which gave no visible [caption] on the front-end, so shortcodes works.
Sorry, I selected the wrong plugin.
Same issue here, after upgrading to the latest WP version.
