We have added Compatibility with WPML, but not with Polylang.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

They add a related events feature that might be causing this.

We do not provide a way to change the backend search.
It might be possible to modify it, but that is beyond the support we can provide.
If you want to only search for organizers you could go to the organizer list in the admin and search there.
And unfortunately, we do not have any features to filter the results on the front end.

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help out.
I am not sure what theme you are using, but if it is Divi this helps:
Head to Divi > Theme Options > General Settings > Number of Post displayed on Archive pages
Change that number to 10 or what you have as the number of events to show in our settings.
That should fix the issue.
If you have another theme look for their archive settings as well to see if you can change the post per page setting.
Let me know how that works out.

There is many resources interacting that could cause this.
Do you have dedicated hosting or shared hosting?
How many events do you have?
Do you have caching turned on?
I would recommend at the very least using a plugin such as WP Super Cache to help with the site loading.
