In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact from 7 – the success mysteryI think you accidently gave it a 5* review?
Having the same issue, trying to add a site to WF Central and it says cloudflare is blocking it. I’ve whitelisted 54.68.32.247 as per the guidelines but still giving me the same error.
Also, the guidelines on how to whitelist it in Cloudflare are out of date as the process to whitelist has changed in the Cloudflare dashboard.
@kiana1 Rich has patched this in the latest version. You need to update your plugin to 1.1.12 for a fix.
For anyone who’s waiting on a fix you can just edit the following files and replace all instances of login_headertitle with login_headertext
/login-designer/includes/template-login-designer.php /login-designer/includes/class-login-designer-frontend-settings.php@dcooney Why swap from using cURL? Doesn’t allow_url_fopen have many security implications? We had it flagged on a recent penetration test that highlighted that allow_url_fopen should be disabled.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Costing us SO much un-billable time! You can easily roll back. Which I’ve had to do on all client sites until I can swap it out.
On the main page of any WordPress plugin, on the left hand side you’ll see a link ‘Advanced’ that takes you to this page:
https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/advanced/
Scroll to the bottom and just select a previous version to download.
It is a shame as I loved this plugin but now forced to remove it from 50+ sites. Everyone makes mistakes but the fact that the author is just ignoring the backlash and feedback is the #1 reason for removal. No idea why he decided to ruin the best contact form plugin around. Wish he would give a reason for it as it just seems bizarre.
@richtabor Ah perhaps I had it published by accident! Setting it to a draft would have removed it from the sitemap.xml output too. Silly me. Thanks for the quick response both! 🙂
Nice one @cybr 😃keep up the great work, there’s a reason your plugin is the only SEO plugin I recommend to anyone!
Hey @cybr
When you try to edit the page with the login designer enabled it just redirects to /wp-admin/customize.php?autofocus[section]=login_designer__section–templates so you can’t actually edit the page to set change the SEO settings (add the noindex flag)
But with Login Designer disabled you can edit the page, set the flag and then reactivate the plugin.
Ah, fixed it by disabling the plugin the updating the page with the noindex flags then re-enabled the plugin.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Great PluginPeople are annoyed because the author deliberately forced thousands of sites onto Recaptcha v3 when there was absolutely no need. He could easily have let people choose between v2 and v3 as they are completely different implementations of recaptcha and Google will be supporting both for the foreseeable future.
Criticising Google makes no sense as Google absolutely gives you the choice, Takayuki removed that choice for no apparent reason and has completely ignored the community feedback / backlash. Not to mention gave no indication that v2 functionality was being pulled from the plugin, not one mention of it being removed in the change-log.
So everyone who was on v2 and updated, their forms were broken.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Spam mail still comes after update to recaptha V3@jdembowski the post was full of people posting ‘Me too’ type posts. Which is why I reported it. Someone else must have removed them before you looked at it.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Spam mail still comes after update to recaptha V3V3 has to learn which traffic is spam and which are real users so unless you have a high traffic site this can take a long time.
V2 works much better for low traffic sites, was silly to force removal of it by the author.
I would just roll back to V5 of the plugin until they re-add support for v2.
You can download a previous version here:
https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/advanced/
Just scroll to the bottom and use the dropdown menu to select the last version.
If you ever need to do this with other plugins, go to the main download page for any plugin and on the right hand side there’s an option ‘Advanced View’ just above the ratings.
