Hi is there a way to remove the /login-designer/ url from your sitemap.xml?

I use the SEO Framework which normally you can edit the page and add a marker to disable it from the sitemap.xml output but when trying to edit that page it redirects to the designer.

Is there a way to remove this from the sitemap output? (I’m guessing this is similar for Yoast)

Ah, fixed it by disabling the plugin the updating the page with the noindex flags then re-enabled the plugin.

That’s true: when you don’t want the page to be seen in the sitemap, we expect you don’t want it to be seen elsewhere either. So, noindex is the way to go in The SEO Framework.

I’m glad you’ve found it. I’m a bit puzzled on the deactivation requirement, however.

    Nevertheless, enjoy your day!

    Hey @cybr

When you try to edit the page with the login designer enabled it just redirects to /wp-admin/customize.php?autofocus[section]=login_designer__section–templates so you can’t actually edit the page to set change the SEO settings (add the noindex flag)

But with Login Designer disabled you can edit the page, set the flag and then reactivate the plugin.

Ah, I see. That’s quite cumbersome! I’ll be adding quick-edit soon so you won’t have to go that route anymore 🙂

Nice one @cybr 😃keep up the great work, there’s a reason your plugin is the only SEO plugin I recommend to anyone!

Hi @cybr and @brendymullan, the Login Designer page is not published (but drafted) – although if it does somehow get published, I’ve already added noindex programmatically. 💪

@richtabor Ah perhaps I had it published by accident! Setting it to a draft would have removed it from the sitemap.xml output too. Silly me. Thanks for the quick response both! 🙂
