In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Page distorted in any browser but ChromeIn Performance/General/Minify – disabled minify – saved – purged the cache and this fixed problem in all browsers.
Re-enabled Minify Auto to start troubleshooting and it remained fixed.
On the basis that ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ I’m happy to leave things as they are with Minify Auto enabled – unless you recommend otherwise?

I was really pleased to find a single plugin to do both jobs. Then ran into the same problem as Muhammad above – what do I do now? Where is the sitemap and how do I make it visible for my visitors to use?Remember most WP users are definitely non-tech. They understand only what they can see and that WP makes visible to them – which does not include what is in the root folder. And please don’t say that they *should*. We’re just human beings trying to get by and we don’t.
I read your other support post about keeping things simple and while I agree in principle this plugin is so simple that it fails to meet the requirement of most WP users. Please make it useable and provide some instructions on how to make the html sitemap visible to visitors and I might come back.
Server max execution time was 30 and I had WF set at 25.

Can you give me any idea why the scans might have failed?
I was clearing the WF cache before each run and switched off the config so that it went direct to WF servers to avoid any interference. Checked server memory at 128mb with my host and ran the memory test that confirmed 128mb and was requesting 90mb.
The only thing I could not affect was I was getting a Warning on CURL setting which was at 60 c.f. the recommended >=300 but my host was unwilling to do anything about it.Most ran for a while and then just stopped.
Some reported a Fatal Error due to memory and always at just over 61k after requesting something more.
Those that ran successfully were always on the small sites whereas the older sites with lots of content always failed. And this was after deleting all themes except the active one and all plugins except WF, Akismet and MainWP Child.Would appreciate your advice.

I’ve just taken a quick look and can see where the confusion arose. I certainly didn’t look any further after finding an icon that looked vaguely like a credit card and opened up with shortcodes.
That looks like a comprehensive solution – once the user is aware that it exists. Maybe a little more help and some pointers in the Documentation would be useful?Regards

On the product page use View Source in your browser to see the source code.
Then Find in the browser to find product_id.This will give you the number – but incredibly laborious.

[wpsc_products] seems to be the only one relevant to products and that produces a list of all the products rather than the single product.Could you clarify what you mean by ‘via the product’s name’.

The Product pages seem to be outside the usual page organisation. I installed Get Page IDs plugin but that does not find the product pages.
It seems cantankerous to provide a shortcode that uses the page ID and then make the page IDs invisible!

As very definitely a non-coder I prefer my plugin method – apart from which Dynamic Widgets seems to have opened up all sorts of possibilities for changing page content according to the subject.
