Thanks for all your feedback. We’re pleased to say that we’ll be releasing an update this week that adds this much-loved feature back to the free edition of WPtouch!
@lotlog – are you using a plugin to remove the http: from media URLs?
What do you have your homepage and Posts Page set to in WordPress’ Reading Settings?
WPtouch can either: use your WordPress settings, or you can specify different ones for WPtouch.
So be sure to check that WPtouch’s settings for those two pages are left to “WordPress Settings” in your case.
That sounds like a big in Storefront, as the error you referenced follows the file bar to the
plugins/storefront-footer-bar/storefront-footer-bar.phpfile.Thanks! That’s a bug we’ll fix.
Hello,
Thanks for choosing WPtouch Pro! For support with WPtouch Pro (including extensions), please open a ticket at http://support.wptouch.com/ – our support team will be happy to help.
2.) WPtouch might need to have a menu set to work with it. Visit Appearance->Menus in the WordPress settings, and assign a menu to WPtouch. The checkbox for menu assignment is below the menus.
1) In WPtouch we no longer disrespect WordPress’ pages on comments feature. Many themes don’t include the comments template call on pages, so they wouldn’t show ever.
It’s easy to bulk change the settings on your pages to prevent the comments template from showing, however.
3:43 in this tutorial video shows you how to bulk edit and turn off comments on your WordPress pages.
Where possible, we always try to support WordPress’ native features and the settings they’re set to.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] WPtouch 4.0We’ll have to look into that conflict, thanks. WPtouch just leverages WordPress’ menu system, so we’re not doing any thing fancy.
Please update to version 4 and let us know if that solves your issue, thanks!

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] WPTouch Mobile vs PROHello,
It’s very unusual that you would not see a theme to activate – once you activate your license in the wizard, we load the list of themes you purchased.
For assistance with this, please don’t hesitate to open a ticket with our support team at http://support.wptouch.com/ – they’ll be happy to help get you up and running with WPtouch Pro!
Thanks for following up–the underlying challenge here was off-site caching that did not know to distinguish between mobile and desktop devices (CloudFlare).
Although they can be useful for simple websites, they are not ideal if you’re going to do server-side enhancements such as using WPtouch for mobile handling–keeping the cache fully in your control is generally best.
We’re very sorry to hear you had such a disappointing experience with our support offering. We would certainly be happy to provide you with full refund. Please contact us at hello@wptouch.com with your order details to proceed.
