Hi Linda,
The featured slider will displays posts with featured images; it looks like the most recent post with a featured image set was the post from July 15th, 2013.
Ensuring that posts have featured images will ensure they can be featured in the slider and get the best possible display across the mobile theme.
Thanks,
The WPtouch Team
Hi Neil,
It sounds like Google’s crawler is not getting properly identified. You might want to check what devices you have enabled support for in the WPtouch admin (make sure Android is on).
If you have a cache system set up, make sure that it is not set to have a single cache for ‘Googlebot’, as that string is present with all of Google’s crawlers, including mobile-friendly.
Google Chrome offers a ‘view as mobile’ mode which can help with debugging this type of issue. To access your site as if you were the Google crawler, simply add a custom mobile device type for Googlebot Mobile with the following User Agent String:
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 6.0.1; Nexus 5X Build/MMB29P) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/41.0.2272.96 Mobile Safari/537.36 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)
With that done, you can make adjustments to the configuration and simply reload the site in your browser to check the effect in real-time rather than relying on Google’s likely cached results.
Thanks,
The WPtouch Team
I like the plugin but when I installed the free version, it took over my desktop website also.
It won’t take over your desktop theme, but that can appear to happen if you’re running a cache plugin that hasn’t been configured to work with WPtouch.
We have a guide for configuring cache plugins with WPtouch:
https://support.wptouch.com/support/solutions/articles/5000537668-configuring-cache-plugins-for-wptouchI went to your website and none of the demos work when you’re switching from the mobile theme to desktop view back to mobile theme.
I just checked our demos and they all work fine switching between the desktop theme and WPtouch. Some of the desktop themes on the demo site may be responsive themes, that still re-format themselves to look better on mobile devices.
From video tutorials, they showed an option where I could work on the plugin where only I could see it. I did not see that option available either.
The display mode development setting is in the Pro version only.
If there was something I was doing wrong please let me know. Awaiting your response before deciding to purchase.
The free version of WPtouch has also been a no-nonsense, straightforward and simple way to make your WordPress website look and work better on mobile devices. Our Pro version contains the many enhanced features and capabilities that users have requested over the years. Obviously these things require development effort and support, so that’s why we offer Pro!
Hope you’ll consider purchasing!
Best,

Co-FounderIs there a chance you can look in the web browser’s console to see if there’s a javascript conflict or bug that might be causing your issue?
Hi,
You’ll have to disable JetPack’s mobile module/plugin. Once you do, WPtouch will show again. Looks like the JetPack folks have their module “get out in front” so to speak.

For future Pro support, use your account at support.wptouch.com to post tickets.
We’ll look at adding a custom slot there for social icons. Just to be clear, you’re talking about the icons in the footer area, correct?
We swapped them to be more consistent will standard mobile website conventions. We’ll look at adding a setting to choose which side they are placed on.
Thanks for reporting! We’ll fix that up.
Thanks for letting us know! We’ll move the fonts inside the product to fix this issue.
Hi,
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you last week. Please note that we are off on weekends, our regular support hours are Monday – Friday 9am-5pm EST.
A refund for the extension you purchased has been processed and we have left it active in your account at no extra charge.
Regards,
WPtouch Support
@frank looks like autoptimize may have been disabled by the time you looked – that said, perhaps theirs a weird case where AO & CloudFlare’s Rocketscript aren’t happy working together?
Hello all,
