In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Custom hook?Hi,
You are free to customize WPtouch to suit your needds, so long as the GPL license is respected and as long as it complies with copyright and disclaimer requirements.

Hi Angelo and Stefano,
At this time, only WPtouch Pro supports child themes. With a child theme, customizations and any custom templates added to the plugin will survive upgrades. WPtouch Pro stores its themes outside of the /wp-content/plugins directory, which allows them to remain untouched in an event of a plugin or theme update.
Also there seem to be a sync issue with mobile site customizer and the wptouch setting preview
If you don’t mind, please let us know what issue/behavior you’re seeing with the preview and Customizer. What settings are you seeing different?

Emilio Rivera
Support Specialist, WPtouchHi Mark,
In the settings for WP Fastest Cache, make sure “Don’t show the cached version for desktop to mobile devices” is selected. Then, take a look in the “Exclude” tab.
Under the “Exclude User-Agents” section, click the button to add a new rule. Then, add each of the user agents in the list below and save the changes. Delete all caches and minified css/js and refresh http://www.slotmachinesonline.co/new-slot-machines/birds-slot.php and you should see the issue resolved.

Support Specialist, WPtouchYep! Fixed. Admins only now.
Sounds like you maybe installed another plugin that was overriding it? Could have been a caching plugin, or Jetpack for WordPress.
Did you post here in support about the issue?
It might be that the font color is coming from somewhere else— another plugin’s CSS for example, and it is over-riding WPtouch color setting.
It would reappear— it’s a small bug, and a corner case, but fixed properly now 🙂
4.2.1 is out 🙂
Okay we found the issue! 4.2.1 will fix it, we’ll be releasing that shortly here today.
Thanks for reporting. We’ll hopefully be able to figure out a workaround.
Hi, thanks for reporting.
Not sure where that’s coming from— I wonder if Piemont has filtered or changed some of the Customizer code under the hood. Does the Piemont theme have it’s own, non-WordPress Customizer?
Sorry about that! We’ll restrict that to authors or above only.
What do you mean the page links are invisible? Did you set the link color to white or something?
Hi Jerry,
I’m not 100% sure what we could add to documentation to cover this situation off; it was a case of WPtouch respecting WordPress’s configuration…
You can find full details about WPtouch Pro on our website, wptouch.com. Although we are unable to offer a demo version, we do offer a 14-day refund guarantee in case the plugin is incompatible with your site.
Having established that the problem you’ve run into is a matter of WordPress configuration, not bugs in the plugin, perhaps you might consider revising your review rating?
