I upgraded the WPtouch plugin to 4.2 today. Now, when I try to use the Piemont Theme customizer, I get the following:

    Cheatin’ uh?
You are not allowed to customize the appearance of this site.

I can use the mobile version of the Customizer with the WPtouchplugin, but can’t get the desktop version unless I deactivate the plugin now.

    Thanks.

  • Hi, thanks for reporting.

Not sure where that’s coming from— I wonder if Piemont has filtered or changed some of the Customizer code under the hood. Does the Piemont theme have it’s own, non-WordPress Customizer?

Okay we found the issue! 4.2.1 will fix it, we’ll be releasing that shortly here today.

Thank you — glad you found the issue. Paradoxically, access to the Desktop Customizer is now working this morning <shrug>.

It would reappear— it’s a small bug, and a corner case, but fixed properly now 🙂

    4.2.1 is out 🙂
