I did try turning off the plugins, and it didn’t work. I’m on shared hosting – but the network has only three sites, and I don’t foresee huge amounts of traffic in the near future (as much as I’d love it!!)
Without the “populate posts” function (I can’t get it to work either, get the same error message) is it even worth it to try to use the plugin? I’m still looking for a way to do searches across the (multi)sites, and I can’t get Relevanssi to work well either.

But my question has been answered: it is. 🙂 Last night when I installed it with the Super Admin the option “widget control” didn’t show up in the subsites, but this morning it has mysteriously appeared. So my question has been answered!!

In addition, after adding the plugin, I get a message that it’s out of date – and yet when I try to update it, I’m told it’s NOT out of date. I’ll put this info on the plugin comments…

In reply to: Image upload not working in WordPress 2.8Same problem – media buttons are all inactive. The arrows to drop down the menus in the admin section don’t work either. I’m running WordPress 2.8.5, using either Safari or Firefox 3.5.3. Everything works fine on my 6 or 7 other sites running WP 2.8.5… so I’m going to try reinstalling it and will let you know if it helps.

I’ll probably have to use a different theme: the one I’m trying to use calls dp_list_pages and I can’t figure out how to modify that… So no plugins using wp_list_pages have any effect.

I’ll also look at “default.tpi” but meanwhile, this is what happens “out of the box” – with the Atahualpa template (which hasn’t messed up any other formatting yet.)
