Hello @maximejobin
If you can provide more details on how to reproduce the problem, I would be happy to try it out and see if I can reproduce or suggest a fix.
If you wish, you can open a ticket at our support forum at wpml org where you can share access details securely so that we can debug this issue and help you.Hello!
You can try and re-save the shipping methods and check if that helps.
Just go to the shipping methods that you have defined as if you want to edit them, and update them / save them.
You have to do that for all of your defined shipping methods. That is very strange.
You said that you have contacted us in our wpml.org forum?
Can you direct me to the ticket link?I feel that I need to take a closer look and check what happens, as I cannot reproduce a similar error in my testing setup.
Hello and thank you for contacting us.
I see that you are using quite an old WPML version and WPML addons versions…Please update to the latest version and I am pretty sure that the error will be resolved.
Remember to create a backup before upgrading.
Hello!
For Ajax requests, you should use our filter as documented here: https://wpml.org/wcml-hook/wcml_multi_currency_ajax_actions/
so that will enable the use of the currency filtering for the ajax action that you add to be filtered.I hope that this solves your problem. Please let me know how it goes.
Hello @webdados
Thank you for your interest in this feature and in our plugin.
Currently, we had no requests for adding compatibility to WooCommerce for the CRUD functionality, but we will discuss that and consider adding it.
I have added this to our planning board for future releases.
As this is a big project, it might take several releases to do this and I cannot provide a timeframe for the implementation of it.Hello again.
You said that the code is not returning you a result.
Could you elaborate a bit more, please?Currently, I am unable to reproduce issue like the one that you have reported, so it would be very nice if you can provide steps on how to reproduce that problem with the average_rating or perhaps create a ticket in our forum at wpml.org so that we can debug this more closely on your environment.
Hello Karolina,
you don’t need a hook here you can access add_service via $woocommerce_wpml->multi_currency->exchange_rate_services->add_service()
One note – you can do this only after WCML initialize exchange_rate_services class ( on init for example )Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce] Compatibility with WP5Hello!
I suggest if you plan to update – that you first test in a staging environment. You can look at this post for WPML https://wpml.org/2018/12/wait-before-updating-to-wordpress-5-0/
I cannot tell you of any known incompatibilities, but we suggest that you either use a staging site to test first or update at a later stage.Hello!
Could you provide more information about the problem, please?
How is possible for me to test this and reproduce it?Perhaps you should check if the value is not obtained somehow from the original product – instead of the translated product.
Maybe if you use https://wpml.org/wpml-hook/wpml_object_id/ to hook the ID to the language that you wish to display the value from – it might be this the key to solving the problem?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce] BugThank you for reporting that bug and the details.
Our developers are going to fix this for the next release of WooCommerce Multilingual.Sorry for the late response for your questions here.
I was having a sick day.
If you have the ability to download WPML plugins from wpml site, then you should be able to access our support forum https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/ where you can ask the question that concerns you and there we can exchange credentials to your site or organize a staging site to test the problems that you report.I did not bring more information for your question because this is a forum about WooCommerce Multilingual. For WPML you should ask in the wpml.org forums.
You are suggesting a very cool feature, but I am not sure how well it could be implemented from a technical standpoint.
Translating the strings from the front-end is something that is relatively a big project and it should be done (if possible)with a great care in relation to performance and as-is the option for tracking strings itself is a pretty costly performance-wise when enabled. I am not aware for plans on implementing such a feature after WordPress 5.0The setting for the original language of the strings may not be even active on your site if your site default language is not English.
There is nothing to be troubled about.
Even if you activate that setting somehow – the worst thing that could happen is that some strings can appear in English instead of your language of choice and you should be very quick to spot that on your site.
I think that I explained what that option does in my previous reply – it loads the strings from source instead of the value kept in String Translation.
There is nothing to be afraid of that option and since your default language is not English – you should not be able to even activate it.If you have an account with a valid subscription for WPML, then you should be able to open a new ticket.
To my knowledge, If you cannot open a new ticket in the forum, it is possible that you might not be using the latest version of our plugin, as if you cannot open a new ticket, then you should not be able to download the latest versions of the plugin too.Perhaps if you ping me on the WordPress slack, we can exchange credentials and I can take a look at the problem at your site.
