Hello again @chodorowicz
The theme COULD be also responsible.
You can try and set-up a staging site and do a test with a theme like Storefront or default themes.
If you have still issues, you can open a ticket in our support forum at wpml.org where we can help you debug the problem further, by exchanging securely access credentials for your site, or a clone of your site so that we can test without affecting your live site.Hello @chodorowicz
I tested this in a clean install with the latest versions of WooCommerce Multilingual, WooCommerce,WordPress and WPML plugins and its addons and I was unable to reproduce the issue.
The issue that is reported here should be resolved since WooCommerce Multilingual version 4.5.0Please update your plugins and re-test
*Don’t forget to create a backup first or test on a staging site.
I have escalated the issue to our developers.
Thank you for reporting it.Thank you for reporting this to me and to our forum at wpml.org.
I will check our supporter ticket in our internal bug-reporting system and debug further the issue.Thank you for the detailed video.
In WooCommerce Multilingual we don’t have a feature that duplicates the review/rating to the other language.
We have a feature that can show the other rating by a link mentioning something like “Show ratings in other languages”.
However, this is not the case in your setup, so you probably have either some third party code in your theme that handles that or some settings or plugin that do that for you.
So I suggest that you check with a minimal set of plugins (WPML, WPML String Translation, WPML Translation Management, WooCommerce, WooCommerce Multilingual) and a default theme like Storefront or Twenty Something to see if you have the same reproduction of the comment in the second language.About the star rating – that could also be related to the same functionality that you have reported to have.
Also WCML has a separate keys for rating, so deactivating WooCommerce Multilingual and removing or adding rating results in not syncing the proper rating to the database fields and then if you re-activate WooCommerce Multilingual you will see the OLD rating – as in your case.Hello @sumukha
WooCommerce Multilingual is compatible with WordPress 5.2 and WooCommerce 3.6.x
Thank you for pointing out that we missed updating that.I did a test in my local environment for a new site and I cannot reproduce the problem.
Could you provide more details please on how to reproduce the issue?Hello and thank you for reporting this problem.
I will check it now and get back to you.Hello @mtapia85
If you have still performance issues after updating to the latest plugins of WPML and WooCommerce Multilingual 4.6.2.1, please open a new ticket in our forum at wpml.org so that we can get in touch with you and get a clone of your site and test the performance.@yaniv691 Your case may need an additional performance debugging.
Would it be possible that you create a new ticket in our support forum at wpml.org so that we can get a snapshot of your site and try and debug the performance issues? We would need also to know where exactly the performance issue appears – which pages.
Un-installing the plugin would not remove any data, but also would not help in this case as well.
We need to take a more in-depth look at your install, so at this time I would like to ask you to open a new ticket in our support forum at wpml.org so that we can exchange credentials privately and debug the issue and help you fix this.Hello and thank you for contacting us
For me it looks like you might have a corrupt currency configuration – as if there is an invalid currency switcher there.
Probably you should try to remove that currency switcher using the delete icon and check if it helps.
Also maybe if you disable temporary and re-enable multi-currency – it might get fixed too.Hello and sorry for the late reply.
Can you provide more details, please?
What exactly is not working? You should probably consider consulting with our getting started guide here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/#how-to-translate-pages-posts-and-custom-posts on how to translate posts
Hello @@yaniv691
Sorry for the late reply.
Have you tested WooCommerce Multilingual 4.6.2.1?
In that version, there should be a number of performance improvements and probably would resolve the issue for you.Thank you for your kind words @mmarauder!
