Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Sudden comment error 144 (everything was fine)I found exactly the same error on my blog. The comments table seems busy, open or unavailable. Anybody knows how to repair the table via Phpmyadmin?
I contacted the hosting provider tech support and willreport here any news.
My guess is a surge in comment spam or a comment exploit.

Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Google Sitemap issueAs for me, besides what I have already said, I am usind a standard shared hosting service, with linux/apache/mysql; wp is installed in the root directory; two writable, executable xml/xml.gz files are in document root. I have an .htaccess with the usual url rewriting and antileech stuff.
I use the last Bad Behaviour plugin, as afar as I know this issue is unrelated to other plugins.
The result is that when I rebuild the sitemap, it opens a save/open file dialog for “options.php”
If I modify or write a post, it opens a save/open file dialog for “post.php”Arne’s sitemap plugin works well in another blog of mine, an almost identical setting, but hosted elesewhere.

In reply to: publishing poetryThank you Kafkaesqui for the thread link, oddly enough, I searched “poetry” i the forums before posting this topic, but did not find anything.
I’ll have to train the authors into disabling the visual rich editor (in wp 2.0, in My Account>Personal Options) and manually insert the
<pre>tag (or I’ll find a way to add a quicktag). That’ll do.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: wp 1.5.2 breaks LetterHead themeThank you all for replying.
As it happens it is a file upload issue and it is solved now. Some ~temp files where mput’ted and cause the error.
