I checked the CSS as you suggested, and it is as you wrote:

Thank you so much for this post, not sure why I was not notified of your response. I just looked at this issue again now that I have a little more knowledge of css and I went into the Gallery>Style Editor and found what you suggested

and changed the background and the border colorsand it works perfectly, thank you so much.
Here are my new questions to you:
1) Does it make a difference if I make the change in Gallery>Style Editor or via ftp in the folder plugins>nextgen-gallery/css/nggallery.css
2 )What do you mean by “As for the border of the entire gallery that should be in your theme’s css file.”

I have a cloudflare account and their plugin as well as the W3-total-cachewill try your other suggestions later today (on a deadline right now). I ended up switching back to WP 3.2.1 but will work through your other suggestions later tonight.

I did post a new topic with this exact problem, but would like to let Lars Kristian know that I have the same issue and have tried everything in the master list 3.3 as well.
FYI: my server is MediaTemple and I use WPZoom’s Videozoom theme 2.4Lars specifically asked others to reply if they encountered this missing popup box issue.
@lars, if you have found a solution would you please help me out as well. Going a bit nutty over this issue.Here is what it looks like for me:

birgittegreat thank you so much for a speedy response, I was looking around in the wp-content/plugin folder and missed the gallery folder.
and it works great if i leave the windows at 400×400 px but I’d like to place the videos next to each other in rows and with smaller thumbnails (that is possible…right?), but when I change the settings to something other than 400×400 px the videos will not load or preview. any idea what is going on?
thanks, birgitteI have the same issue as you. I am self-hosting the videos and most are between 100-200 MB. Can you take me through a step-by-step of how you upload to the gallery folder manually from the FTP client?
I cannot find a gallery folder or a scan gallery folder button.
any pointers much appreciated.
