Yes, I tried all that and it didn’t work for me either. I’ve switched to Foo Gallery
Back to this problem.
This line –
<td <?php echo $attributes ?>><?php echo esc_html( $author_user->display_name ); ?></td>
causes an error –
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home1/techops/public_html/next/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/admin/manage-galleries.php on line 297I have no idea how to fix it. I’ve now done the latest upgrade and run the reset tool again. Didn’t work. If I knew how to do a clean reload without losing anything I would.

How do I do it? How can I get hold of a clean version of the NextGEN files, and can I just overwrite the others.
I don’t suspect any particular thing – I don’t know enough about how the gallery system works.
B
Sadly it made no difference.
Would it work to download a complete version of NextGEN and overwrite the files?

Yes, I’ve just tried several. I updated some but not all, and there was no difference.
Would the version of PHP make a difference? I was moved from Ixwebhosting to Site 5 when they took over. I can’t remember whether this is the first time I’ve accessed the galleries since then.

..also, I can upload images to the media library but can’t put them into a gallery. All worked fine for years up to recently.

I have a similar problem, and in Manage Galleries I get the error –
