Thanks for your quick response! This was actually an easy fix, thanks for the good advice. I found out that the cause for the page reload was the Contact Form 7 Paypal Add-on that I didn’t even use: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7-paypal-add-on/

So to anyone who is experiencing the same issue: Deactivate your paypal add-on for contact form 7!
