Here’s a few steps you can take to fix this:
- Ensure that you are both the admin and owner of the Facebook assets
- Confirm you have 2FA enabled for the Facebook account you are using. If that did not help, continue with the next points.
- Go to https://<your-site>/wp-admin/options.php and search for
wc_facebook_external_business_id - Update field to include only supported characters and save (best practice: store-name-dfsdc3lck9k6q ← 13-digit random string
- Go back to WooCommerce > Facebook and click “Get Started” again

How do I know it ran?
When the products are deleted, it means it did run.
Please make sure you are using the https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/ and in case it did not work, follow instructions explained here:

The way it is now is fine, but if a new update can suddenly disable product sync because it is set to “no”, then I will need to activate it again!
Glad to know it works just fine for you at the moment.
Updating the plugin is not expected to change your current settings. Please keep close eyes on the behavior after updating the plugin.

There are minor issues with version 5.6, please roll back to version 5.5.0 for now. The developers are working on a new release.

It sounds like the product has the setting enabled for “include in Facebook sync“, yet the category is excluded too.
As a quick workaround, it should be possible to remove/uncheck the “Include in Facebook sync” from using either the Bulk Actions or directly on the product itself. You can read more about how to do this from our documentation page.
Would it be possible to give this a go, and let me know if you can then update the product successfully?
