As it was mentioned in the ticket reply, the problem that you have encountered is not related to our plugin but it is a server problem that you need to solve on your end. The problem you have will prevent you from successful usage of not only Backup Guard plugin but also other plugins.
We still would be very happy to assist you further and do our best to help you with resolution since we value each and every customer of our product.

In reply to: [JetBackup - Backup, Restore & Migrate] lost my website@instructizer We are sorry for your bad experience with our plugin. We have added all the basic functionality into the light version of the plugin and in case you want some advanced features you need to upgrade.
Migration is not just restoration. All database is being refactored to be compatible to the new environment in case of migration. The migration feature is included only in Pro versions, that’s why such exception could happen when you attempt to migrate the website using Free version.

wp-content/themes/dsad/templates
Please change folder permissions and try to perform backup again.

In reply to: [JetBackup - Backup, Restore & Migrate] Error in backup download@ranjeet555 Generally such issues may be related to symlinks which are regulated by server configurations.We attempt to create a symlink for the backup archive, but in case it fails you won’t be able to download your backup using BackupGuard interface (GUI). Of course your backups are there and you can download them using any FTP client or cPanel tools. The backups are being stored in “wp-content/uploads/backup-guard” directory.
For resolving the issue, please make sure that your server configurations allow symlink creation. You can contact your hosting provider and ask them to enable that feature for you.
FYI: I’d like to outline, why symlinks are so important in this case. We don’t open direct access to backup archives, but create a temporary symlink. This is done for security reasons. Nobody won’t be able to download your archives externally without your permission.
