Yes, there seemed to be an inconsistency between the websites. The first one automatically showed the CPT and the second one automatically hide the CPT.
Just another thing I want to check though, does the “Read more” tag work with CPT? I am battling to get the “Read more” feature working. When I display the content and apply filters, the <!–more–> tag is still in the HTML and all the content is displayed.
Is this potentially a CPT UI issue or am I just missing something?

Ok, I might be wrong. It seems as though the issue is with different hosted sites. Although the same version, the one version seems to “hide” the CPT from the menu options by default but can be made visible via the “Screen Options”.
I have no idea why, but I am fine with this.
