Thank you for using Master Slider.
1920×1080 is ok and it is mostly used. However, we cannot say what is the best size for a slider, because the images quality and sizes are different, besides, they will cropped/resized in different screen sizes.
In order to avoid cropping images, you can set the fillmode to fit.Please do not hesitate to ask any other questions.

Master Slider does not control embed videos and it just loads that video. It could be caused by many reasons.

You can do that by enabling Insert slide info inside slider on Slider Controls -> Slide Info Control Options, and add margin to Thumblist/tabs and slide info. This is what I created:

Please deactivate jetpack and test the slider again. Also, there is an addon on the jetpack named photon. Please turn it off, it is always causing problems with Master Slider.

Panel is not compatible with jQuery 3 now.
We will have a major update for Master Slider, and this will be fixed in that update. Also it will have some new features, however, it will not happen soon and we cannot say when it will be.

To show arrows outside the box, you can increase the Slider wrapper width on Slider Settings -> General Settings -> Slider sizing method and make it larger than your slider width.
Then disable Align center slider controls on Slider Settings -> Appearance

Without using plugin, adding a lightbox needs codes and styles. Plugins make it easier for you and it has no significant effect on the website performance.
So the best way to add a lightbox is using plugin.

As I said, I guess it caused by plugin conflicts. Please deactivate them all temporarily and reactivate them one by one in order to find out which one causes this problem.
