Hi David,
I’m glad to hear you got it working, although I completely agree that Google’s process is far less than intuitive.
Thank you for following up and sharing with others what you did so you can at least give them some hope of getting it working.

Support at YoastHi Swace,
Keep in mind that we do offer premium support – which could log in and take a closer look at things – if you’re still struggling with that site.
We have a 30 day refund policy so no risk if we can’t get it working for you. Just something to consider.

Support at YoastHi Icornell,
First off, it’s important to know the difference between a focus keyword and the old “meta keywords”. Please read this: http://kb.yoast.com/article/137-the-difference-between-focus-keywords-and-meta-keywords
The Focus Keyword is NOT shown to Google and is simply part of the internal test.
Once you have the post optimized for the first term or phrase, you can REMOVE the focus keyword (or phrase) and put in a second one and the tester will show you places you can better optimize for that phrase.
Please keep in mind that we also offer premium SEO analysis and reviews of your website if you find that you are having trouble getting the performance from your site that you would like.

Support at YoastHi newedgemarketing,
Would you please share your site URL, a page/post that is behaving, and one or more that is NOT behaving?

Support at YoastHi Lauren,
What’s your website’s URL?
How long ago did you make the details change?
Keep in mind that the details will not be updated until Google re-crawls the site which can be a week or more on younger sites.
You can sometimes “nudge” Google into re-checking it again sooner using the “Fetch as Googlebot” tool at: http://kb.yoast.com/article/108-fetch-as-googlebot

Support at YoastOne additional thing.
Please don’t feed Mister Stimpy any more cheese sandwiches before bed. They don’t seem to be agreeing with him.

Hi DutchMan0,
I’d suggest that you bookmark our KB or consider our premium support options if the free forum isn’t active enough for ya 😉 (Thank you for the giggle though!)
Please visit: http://kb.yoast.com/article/237-how-do-i-fix-duplicate-meta-tags and see the section “Subpages With Duplicate Meta Tags”
There is rarely need to use “C” if you use “A” correctly.

Support at YoastHi Chris,
It is likely your rewrite rules which are associated with your server.
You may want to have a look at this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4270921/mod-rewrite-and-double-slash-issue

Support at YoastHi dimitris33,
The canonical is available on a per page/per article basis in with our other per-page settings. It’s located on the advanced tab in the Yoast SEO meta box in the post/page editor.
If you do not have an advanced tab, then you have likely disabled it, in the “Titles & Metas” settings page of the plugin.

Support at YoastWhat is your URL, CKxion? Please include an example attachment page that is not viewing correctly.
Keep in mind that this data is for the “attachment” pages that WordPress makes, in the background, for all images. You’d need to check the attachment page for our fields to show.

Support at YoastA filter* is available to remove or modify each OpenGraph tag. See the code in og_tag function in class-opengraph.php to find the correct filter names.
A fellow user provided an example of how to use a filter here. https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/1595#issuecomment-119364501
Warning: The code may be outdated or invalid. And as always, please backup your site before making any changes.
* Filters are intended for advanced users and developers.

Support at YoastHey dpwebmaster,
Go into the home page itself – as an individual page – and edit it there as you would for any normal page.

Support at YoastHi CurvyGirlsRChic and Amir,
Did you try the suggestion by Polar-vortex above?

Support at YoastWe recommend putting the problematic URL into the Facebook debugger and looking at the tags.
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
You may also need to use their “Fetch a fresh scrape” to get it to update if the information has changed from the first time the URL was shared.
